Sometimes you come across remarkable people with with a heart of gold. Dr. Kami is one of those people. I had to fly very unexpectedly to Berkeley on a Sunday. The very next day, my tooth was really hurting, and I knew something was wrong. I called Dr. Kami’s office, deciding on him after reading reviews, and oh my gosh, the man is brilliant and kind. Not only did he fit me in (on the Office lunch- Thank you Annie) he took time to actually talk to me and get to know me. I found this to be UNBELIEVABLY kind because I don’t live here and it’s very clear from my address and insurance. But he took time and he asked me about who I was and then informed me that I would need a root canal, which pretty much terrified me. He reassured me that I would be in good hands and was able to get me in with Dr. Priya O’Callaghan at Endo Specialists. I am preparing to leave tomorrow, but I am going to include a visit to his office the next time I am here to discuss Aesthetic procedures. I’ve come to learn that my root canal is due to grinding, and my teeth are suffering because of it. I’ve heard he is an incredible Aesthetic Dentist so with my daughter going to school at Berkeley, I’m coming back her

Today I had the first good experience at the dentist in my whole life. Since I was very little, I have HATED going to the dentist. Today, I think that changed. I get very overwhelmed by new places, sounds, smells, etc., and I walked in with my sunglasses and noise cancelling headphones (iykyk). I was not judged or asked to take them off. Everyone there treated me so nicely. I didn't have a panic attack or cry! It is apparent that Dr. Kami leads his team with kindness and warmth, because that is how I was welcomed today. I feel very grateful to have found his practice and only wish I'd found them sooner. I don't hate the dentist anymore! :)

Dr Kami is the best, I had to have several crowns and all of the work was absolutely painless from the injections to drilling and placing the crown. It was all done within a couple of hours and I never felt a thing and everyone was so nice to me! I will never go to another dentist. This was the best experience ever.

Dr. Kami's office was able to see me super short notice for a time sensitive replacement flipper. The staff is extremely warm and friendly, and for someone like me who really hates the dentist, this goes a long way to put you at ease. Professional, the work performed was of high quality, the cost was not abnormally high, and I felt they really accommodated me. I'm absolutely going back.

Dr. Kami has been my dentist for over 15 years. He is in a class by himself. Care at his practice is first rate and the dental hygienists have the lightest touch and the best results I have ever had. He has all the latest equipment and does crowns right in the office so that you can have the entire procedure done in one day. And to top it all off when I had hip surgery some years ago I arrived home to find a large floral arrangement awaiting me. I had only mentioned in passing that I was having this procedure so I was quite pleasantly surprised. Recently I had a crown fall out that I had had done 2 to 3 years ago and I called his office asking half-jokingly if there was a warranty on the work and they told me they would replace it at no additional charge. Once again I was pleasantly surprised. All my friends have started going to Dr. Kami and they all thank me every day.
